From the factory Mercedes do not use a gasket between the turbo and manifold as the machined surfaces were so accurate. However, as vehicles, manifolds and turbos are getting older these impressive factory surface finishes are less likely to be seen. 

Therefore, we have produced a stainless gasket based on our experience from manufacturing gaskets for other Diesel engine applications.
